"Amongst recent patrons of Pauls work are, a former Head of fine art at Cambridge University, a Director of a major public city Art Gallery, The Chairman of a National Symphony Orchestra, The Founder of a household name food product, Chairman of Chamber of Commerce, Town Mayor, Architect. Paul was recently commissioned by 'The friends of Clifford T Ward' to produce paintings for Christmas cards, based on the songs of Clifford T Ward, the Worcestershire singer/songwriter, best known for his songs 'Homethoughts from abroad' and 'Gaye'."

Born in Gloucestershire, Paul’s formative years were spent surrounded by Cotswold countryside, farms and livestock. During his early childhood Paul would attend agricultural shows with his father, a stock-man, who would lead the cattle around the show ring. The characters of the cattle, especially the bulls, are a lasting memory. Hence his passion for painting cows now! Pauls first job as an artist was whilst serving in the Royal Navy. Recognising his artistic talent he was appointed as Artist on the intelligence gathering team. He has since had careers with 'Marks & Spencer' ( Warehouse foreman) & West Mercia Constabulary ( Police Officer) Evesham and Ross on Wye !989 to 1996. He has been a chimney sweep since until going part time in 2004 to develop his art.
